Cherry Mobile really like to surprise us with ground breaking releases in our local android market here in the Philippines. Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt, the latest tablet from CM, was announced this week. We love surprises as much as you do and we’re really excited about this one!
Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt features a 1GHz quad-core processor and we already know that you’re thinking that this one is supposed to be super fast when compared to the likes of the Cherry Mobile Titan and Cherry Mobile Flare. But there is an issue – it’s not really an A9 processor but an A5 – which is the reason why early benchmarks and initial review were not that good. According to a post by NoypiGeeks, it suffers from sluggishness but it was able to handle most HD games – it’s not as smooth as you think, though.
But for only Php3,999, we can’t really complain. The benchmark results were pretty decent so there shouldn’t be any real problem in everyday usage. The most compelling selling point of the Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt for me is the 7-inch 1280×800 HD IPS display which outperforms other more expensive CM tablets. Also, the considerably huge 1GB of RAM will make the performance smoother than most of its competition. There is only 8GB of storage available but the good thing is it’s expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card. Check out the full rundown of Fusion Bolt specs below.
